Privacy Policy

Purpose and Scope
This policy discloses what information we gather about you when you visit Mevell Web Design domains, use Mevell Web Design, or buy products directly from us. It describes how we use that information and how you can take control of it.

Information Mevell Web Design Gathers and Tracks
Mevell Web Design collects two kinds of information about users: 1) data that users volunteer by signing up to receive news and product information, subscribing to mailing lists or email delivery of our information systems, completing surveys, submitting information from our desktop tools or buying directly from us; and 2) aggregated tracking data we may collect when users interact with our Website or service interfaces.

Personal Information
We use the personal information you provide voluntarily to send information you have requested and to fulfill requests, for site and tool personalization and for statistical purposes. The specific use of your personal information varies, depending on how you contact us: When you subscribe to Mevell Web Design mailing lists to receive Mevell Web Design news and product information, you must provide an email address. We use that email address to send the requested information. We never sell or rent your email address that you provide when subscribing to our lists.

When you post information to Mevell Web Design public mailing lists or message bases, this information will be visible to the public. Moreover, Mevell Web Design mailing lists may be archived by third-party sites over which Mevell Web Design has no control, and your email address can be found from their archives.  When you choose to share information with us, for example through our desktop tools or Website, we may report on that submission in anonymous statistical form, as well as use that information for site or content personalisation.

When or if you order Mevell Web Design products, subscribe to our services, or request information from us that depends upon your technology use, we record the technologies you're using in order to provide the service. Where that service may in part be provided through a partner, we will share your information with the partner in anonymous form. Our partner relationships provide equivalent privacy protection for such information as provided by this policy itself. We may also add you to our mailing lists and will contact you with Mevell Web Design - related issues now and then.

We may from time to time offer certain programs with limited participation, for example closed beta programs. When you participate in such programs, we may require additional information to permit selection of participants. In addition, we will contact participants to collect program feedback periodically. These communications are not promotional in nature. Where we may use third parties in fulfilling some of our services, we share only the information necessary to fulfil the service, and our partner agreements provide equivalent privacy protection for such information as provided by this policy itself.

We only release identifiable personal information when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Mevell Web Design our users or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Aggregated Tracking Information
We may analyze visitors' use of our sites and tools by tracking information such as downloads, page views, traffic flow, search terms and click-through. We use this information to improve our products and sites. We may also share or publish this anonymous traffic and demographic information in aggregate form. We do not share or publish any information that can identify an individual user.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

The impact of EU regulation No 524/2013 on Consumer Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
According to the Law Society, virtually every firm in the country must amend its website by 15 February 2016 to inform individual clients about a new EU online dispute resolution (“ODR”) service. This is because you will now be caught by new rules regulating e-commerce. In order to promote e-commerce the EU wants consumers who buy a product or service online to be able to submit complaints to traders via an EU platform http://ec.europa.eu/odr. That site will then transmit the complaint to an alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) entity to try to facilitate a solution. The EU service will be operational by 15 February 2016. In order to comply with the regulations, you must provide the following information on your website: 1. a link to the ODR platform http://ec.europa.eu/odr and 2. the email address of the online trader. The following wording may be suitable: “If you are a client and we have made a contract with you by electronic means you may be entitled to use an EU online dispute resolution service to assist with any contractual dispute you may have with us. This service can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. Our email address is xxxxxx

The following types of cookie are used on this site. We don't list every single cookie used by name - but for each type of cookie we tell you how you can control its use.

Personalisation cookies
We do not use these type of cookies on this website. Other websites use these cookies to recognise repeat visitors to their Website and in conjunction with other information held, attempt to record specific browsing information (that is, about the way you arrive at the Website, pages you view, options you select, information you enter and the path you take through the Website). These are used to recommend content we think you'll be interested in based on what you're looked at before.

Analytics Cookies
We do sometimes use these type of cookies on this website. These monitor how visitors move around the Website and how they reached it. This is used so that we can see total (not individual) figures on which types of content users enjoy most, for instance. You can opt out of these if you want:

Google: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Third-party service cookies
We do not use these type of cookies on this website. Social sharing, video and other services we offer are run by other companies. These companies may drop cookies on your computer when you use them on our site or if you are already logged in to them. Here is a list of places where you can find out more about specific services that we may use and their use of cookies.

Our own Ad Serving and Management Cookies
We do not use these type of cookies on this website. Other websites can and do sell space on some of their websites to advertisers - they pay for the content you enjoy for free. As part of this, they use several services to help the website owner and advertisers understand what adverts you might be interested in.

These cookies hold information about the computer - they don't hold personal information about you (ie it's not linked to you as an individual). But they might hold a record of what other websites you've looked at - so we could show you a car advert if you've previously visited a motoring website. Below are some examples of the services they may use and how you can control those cookies. Please note that turning off advertising cookies won't mean that you are not served any advertising merely that it will not be tailored to your interests.

Other Ad Management Cookies
We do not use these types of cookie on our website as our website does not use any outside advertising organisations. Advertisements on other Websites provided by other organisations my serve advertisements that they believe are most likely to be of interest to their visitors, based on information about their visit to that Website and other websites. In order to do this, advertising partners may need to place a cookie on your computer. These cookies hold information about the computer - they don't hold personal information about you (ie it's not linked to you as an individual). For more information about this type of online behavioral advertising, about cookies, and about how to turn this feature off, please visit:

•   http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/

Please note that turning off advertising cookies will not mean that you are not served any advertising, merely that it will not be tailored to your interests.

Site Management Cookies
We do not use these type of cookies on this website. These types of cookies are used to maintain your identity or session on the Website. For instance, where a website runs on more than one server, other websites may use a cookie to ensure that you are sent information by one specific server (otherwise you may log in or out unexpectedly). Other websites may use similar cookies when you vote in opinion polls to ensure that you can only vote once, and to ensure that you can use our commenting functionality when not logged in (to ensure you don't see comments you've reported as abusive, for instance, or don't vote comments up/down more than once). These cookies cannot be turned off individually but you could change your browser setting to refuse all cookies (see above) if you do not wish to accept them.

This information is not linked to personally identifiable information. We use this anonymous data to improve our products and sites. We may use an outside advertising company to display advertisements on our site. These advertisements may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Website, cookies received with banner or other ads are collected by these advertising companies, and we do not have access to or control over this information. You can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies or to block cookies.
